Volkswagen is getting ready to expand its SUV lineup in the US with a new compact SUV that will slot in below the Tiguan.
The new compact SUV is going to debut on October 13, but to get us ready for its debut, VW released the first teaser of the small SUV on Tuesday.
“We’re excited to share the first glimpse of the newest member of the Volkswagen family,” said Scott Keogh, president and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America. “Great things come in small packages, as Volkswagen has proven throughout the years with its iconic Beetle, Golf and Jetta. This next car will be no exception.”
It’s been reported that the new small SUV will be closely related to the Tarek that’s sold in South America. Production is expected to start in 2021.
