Following the confirmation last month that the electric I.D. Buzz concept is headed to production, Volkswagen has unveiled an updated version of the electric I.D. Crozz concept. The updated I.D. Crozz concept is closer to the production version, which will arrive in 2020.

On the outside the Volkswagen I.D. Crozz concept retains its SUV/ four-door coupe styling, but the front and rear have been updated so they are closer to what we’ll see on the production version. Updated headlights, a new lower front fascia and tweaks to the rear are more production ready than before.

Inside the interior has also been updated to give it an Open Space. The B-pillar has been deleted and the rear doors slide back to give passengers easy access to the interior. There’s also a new CleanAir system that monitors the quality of the air in the car and a new voice assistant that lets you activate the fully automatic driving mode or open the doors by using your voice.

The I.D. Crozz is powered by two electric motors, one at the front axle and one at the rear. The electric motors generate a total 302 horsepower and the concept can travel up to 311 miles.
