It’s no secret that the crossover segment is easily the most competitive segment. In order to compete, VW has decided to lower the price of the three-row 2018 Tiguan by up to $2,180 depending on the trim level.
In a letter to its dealers, VW announced that its lowering the price of the 2018 Tiguan by $600 for the base S trim, $2,180 for the midlevel SE trim and SEL trim is now $1,460 cheaper. The only model that isn’t getting a price cut is the top-level SEL Premium model. This means that the 2018 Tiguan now starts at $25,495, while the SE is priced at $27.650 and the SEL now starts at $31,990. The Tiguan SEL is priced at $37,150.
Pricing for the last-generation Tiguan, which is now called the Tiguan Limited, remains unchanged at $22,860.
