BMW has confirmed that the Vision EfficientDynamics will go into production in 2013, but it looks like a recent photo shoot in Abu Dhabi is giving us our first glimpse at the production version… or at least a prototype that is closer to the production version.
The prototype seen here is slightly different than the camouflaged prototype that BMW showed off, so it’s been suggested that this is the production model. It’s also being rumored that the production version will be dubbed the i8 and that it will be powered by a 328-hp three-cylinder hybrid powertrain.
