As we wait patiently for the much anticipated Toyota FT-86, Autocar has posted an interview with the senior designer of the concept, Jaromir Cech.
Regarding the design of the final version, Cech claims that the bonnet is a little low and will likely be raised for the production car to meet pedestrian crash protection legislation. The production version is expected to be powered by Subaru’s 2.0L flat four mated to a six-speed manual transmission with a conventional rear-wheel-drive layout.
