Even though we’ve been saying that it’s coming back for the past few years, Toyota has officially confirmed that it’s bringing back one of its most iconic models – the Supra. Today, Toyota previewed the new Supra with the GR Supra Racing Concept that’s debuting at the Geneva Motor Show.

The track ready GR Supra Racing concept was created by Toyota Gazoo Racing, the GR Supra Racing concept is ready to race with its wide front and rear bumpers, front splitter and large rear wing, which are all made from a lightweight composite material. The hood is crafted from the same material, while the windshield and side windows are made of plastic.

The concept’s chassis features a lowered front and rear suspension and it rides on BBS racing wheels and Michelin racing tires. The braking system uses Brembo Racing calipers and discs and there is a racing exhaust.

Inside the concept features a racing dashboard and OMP driver’s seat and safety harness. OMP has also supplied the quick-release steering wheel, racing column and paddle shift system. The doors are lined with carbon fiber panels and the dashboard includes a racing display.

Toyota hasn’t revealed what’s under the hood, but we may not have to wait to long to see it. There’s a good chance that the production version of the new Toyota Supra will debut later this month at the New York Auto Show.
