Right now the 2020 Toyota Supra brings 335 horsepower to the table, but if you want something closer to 400 horsepower on tap, Toyota might be answering your prayers. It’s being reported that a more powerful version of the Supra, called the Supra GRMN is in the works.

The GR Supra is great, but the chassis could easily pack more power. Japan’s Best Car Web is reporting that the more powerful Supra GRMN is coming in about two years and under the hood it will be powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged straight-six engine with close to 400 horsepower.

In addition to the extra horsepower, the Supra GRMN will also go on a diet thanks to the use of more carbon fiber components. Its suspension will also be upgraded, which will make the Supra GRMN even more fun on the track.

Toyota has yet to officially confirm the Supra GRMN, but higher performance versions have been expected.
