Toyota has released a teaser of its latest concept, GR Super Sport concept, which is going to debut next month at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2018. The GR Super Sport concept has been developed by Toyota Gazoo Racing, which aims to develop its cars towards the goal of “making ever-better cars” through participation in motorsports activities.
The technologies and know-how acquired through such activities, like the World Rally Championship (WRC) and World Endurance Championship (WEC) will be used to the develop new production vehicles. As part of this integrated development process from motorsports activities through product development, Toyota launched the new “GR” sports car series in September.
Toyota hasn’t released any significant details about the GR Super Sport concept, but its shape is similar to the new Supra.
