The Tacoma, Tundra and 4Runner are already Toyota’s most adventure ready vehicles and now Toyota has made them even more ready to hit the trails with the debut of the new Trail Special Edition models. The Trail Special Edition models are debuting today at the 2020 Chicago Auto Show.

The 2021 Toyota Trails are based on the SR5 trim level are available with either 2WD or 4WD. All three versions get lack exterior badging, black seats with tan stitching and all-weather floor liners.

The 2021 Tacoma Trail gets Dark Gray 18-inch TRD Off-Road wheels with Kevlar All-Terrain tires, and it borrows the grille from the Tacoma Limited. A 115-volt power outlet in the bed has been added and lockable bed storage with insulation to double as a cooler. The 2021 Tundra Trail also gets the same bed storage, plus the chrome grille from the Tundra 1794 Edition.

The 2021 4Runner Trail gets dark gray TRD Off-Road wheels, a Yakima LoadWarrior rooftop cargo basket, a custom 40-quart cooler and a sliding cargo tray.

The Trail Editions are available in Army Green, Cement, Midnight Black, and Super White. Toyota is planning to only build 7,000 Tacomas, 5,000 Tundras and 4,000 4Runners as Trail Editions. They arrive this summer.
