The Toyota Prius officially launched in 2007 in Japan, but it didn’t come to the US until 2021. It’s hard to believe the Prius has already been here 20 years and to celebrate the milestone, Toyota is reportedly going to introduce a Prius 20th Anniversary Edition.

CarsDirect is reporting that the 2020 Prius Anniversary Edition is coming and that it will be positioned above the top spec Limited trim level and that it will only be offered with front-wheel drive. The 20th Anniversary Edition will likely get different wheels and badges, but it hasn’t been confirmed. It will only be offered in two colors: Supersonic Red and Wind Chill Pearl.

Inside the seats will be wrapped in black Softex.

Production is reportedly kicking off in July, so we should hear more soon from Toyota.
