While the original Prologue concept previewed what a future Audi coupe could look like, the Prologue Avant concept previews the future look of Audi’s wagons. “With the Audi prologue, the prototype meter of our new design language, we have clearly pointed the way in esthetics. Now we are going one step further by presenting a concept which combines esthetics, dynamics and function in a fascinating way” – this is how Marc Lichte describes the character of the Audi prologue Avant. “The progressive body design expresses our technological competence and reveals the values which render our brand unique: sportiness, high-quality, progressiveness.”

Inside the Prologue Avant concept has individual seats for four passengers and a modern, yet clean dashboard design is devoid of buttons and knobs.
Under the hood the Prologue Avant concept is powered by a 3.0L diesel engine that is mated to an electric motor for a total output of 449 horsepower. Audi estimates that the concept will zoom from 0-62 mph in 5.1 seconds and be able to drive up to 34 miles in electric mode.
