Porsche has announced that the current generation 911 (known internally as the 997) has sold 100,000 units in just over three years. Production of the current model began in April 2004.
No other 911 generation has sold 100,000 units in the same amount of time.
The “record breaking” Porsche is a red Carrera S with a manual gearbox that will be delivered to a lucky German customer within a few days.
