Ford has announced the newest member of the Raptor family, the all-new 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is almost ready for the US market.

In true Raptor style, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor sports numerous off-road-focused performance upgrades. Arguably, the most significant of these have been made to its suspension, where Ford has crafted a purpose-built solution that uses lightweight aluminum upper and lower control arms and a long-travel Watts linkage rear suspension with trailing arms for improved off-road capability.

The 2024 For Ranger Raptor’s next-generation FOX 2.5-inch live valve internal bypass shocks are designed to reduce heat build-up for all-day fun in the sand and can change their damping performance based on the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor’s no less than seven different drive modes. The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor’s fully boxed frame features reinforced front frame rails, front shock towers, rear shock brackets, suspension mounts, and more, making it more than capable of conquering some of the world’s harshest off-road conditions.

The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor features a 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6, producing a best-in-class 405 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, making it the most powerful Ranger ever built. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and an advanced four-wheel drive system with a new electronically controlled two-speed transfer case with locking front and rear differentials. Exclusive to the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is Baja mode, which keeps the turbochargers spinning for up to three seconds after the driver releases the throttle for uninterrupted power while exiting corners.

Of course, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor also features plenty of visual upgrades to distinguish it from the rest of the 2024 Ford Ranger lineup. These upgrades include flared fenders with functional fender vents, 33-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires mounted to 17-inch rims, Raptor signature Ford lettering on the grille, and all-steel bumpers with integrated front and rear tow hooks.

Interior upgrades include improved seat bolstering, a sport steering wheel with magnesium alloy paddle shifters, six upfitter switches mounted in the overhead console, and trim pieces in “code orange.” Buyers will also find steering wheel controls to adjust steering, damper, and exhaust settings. Standard features include a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster paired with a 12-inch center infotainment screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.

The 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor is due to hit dealers in the first quarter of 2024.
