Tesla decided to bring us a surprise tonight at the debut of the Tesla Semi with the unexpected debut of its new Roadster. Tesla has been pretty quiet about its plans to introduce a new roadster, but now we know that the Tesla Roadster will arrive in 2020.

With a driving range of 620 miles thanks to a 200 kWh battery pack, the Tesla Roadster will easily be able to travel to from Los Angeles to San Francisco and back on a single charge. Tesla also revealed that the Tesla Roadster will be the fastest production car ever with a 0-60 mph time of only 1.9 seconds. The Tesla Roadster has three electric motors, one in the front and two in the rear.

While we have about three years until the Tesla Roadster arrives, it would take most of us even longer to save up the money that the Roadster will cost. Tesla expects the base Tesla Roadster to start at $250,000 and you can reserve one for only $50,000.

So … it’s time for another Knight Rider reboot. With TITT* (Tesla Industries Ten Thousand i.e. Nm) launching out the back of a Tesla Semi with full autonomous driving and natural language conversation via a Tesla version of male Siri.
There’s a role for an Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular as well.
*Or could be MITT (Musk Industries Ten Thousand) and give Mitt Romney the role of the old boss guy.
