In July Tesla passed the 200,000 vehicle cap, which means that after December 31, 2018, all Tesla vehicles are only eligible for half the $7,500 federal tax credit. If you’re hoping to get the full federal tax credit for the Model 3, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced that you have until the end of November to order your Model 3, which will be delivered by the end of the December deadline.

According to Elon Musk, Tesla has managed to get extra trucks to help deliver the Model 3 by the deadline. Last month Tesla stated that you had only until October 15, but since Tesla was able to acquire some trucking companies to deliver the vehicles, it is confident that it will be able to deliver the Model 3 by the end of the year.

So you only have two weeks to place your order for the Model 3. Tesla has yet to start production of the $35,000 Model 3, so for now the cheapest version available is the Model 3 with the mid-range battery that has a 260 mile range. After the full federal tax credit, the mid-range Model 3 starts as low as $39,700.
