The Tesla Model Y is officially here, since Tesla has confirmed that it has started deliveries of the electric crossover.
Tesla confirmed the news on Twitter with a new short video that shows the Model Y being driven and built. Now that the Model Y is here, it’s only a matter of time until it becomes the Tesla’s best selling model.
Right now there are only two versions of the Model Y to choose from, the Long Range Dual Motor version, which starts at $52,990 and the Performance version, which is priced at $60,990. Next year buyers will be able to get the standard range version, which starts at $39,000, which has a shorter 230-mile range, compared to 315 miles with the Long Range version.
