Tesla is reportedly working on a new all-wheel-drive version of the Model S sedan according to sources that spoke with The Verge. The Model S already has an insane waiting list and with the introduction of a new all-wheel-drive version that list isn’t about to get any shorter.
The all-wheel-drive Model S could launch as early as the beginning of next year and initially only be offered in a top trim level. The all-wheel-drive version would also have performance levels that are equal to the current “P85” drivetrain that reaches 0-60 mph in 4.2 seconds.
Although Tesla hasn’t confirmed anything, the report is great news for buyers that have harsh winters.
