Subaru has announced that the 2020 Subaru Legacy and Outback are now rolling off the production line in Indiana.

The seventh-generation Legacy debuted earlier this year at the Chicago Auto Show in February, while the sixth-generation Outback debuted at the New York Auto Show in April. While both models have been completely revamped for the 2020 model year, Subaru has held the line on the pricing. The 2020 Legacy starts at $23,645, while the 2020 Outback starts at $27,655.

Both models are available with either a 182-hp 2.5L four-cylinder boxer engine or a 260-hp 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder boxer engine. No matter which engine you choose, the only transmission available is a CVT. As usual the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system is standard. Both models also come with the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology and are available with an 11.6-inch Starlink multimedia screen and the DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.
