2019 Subaru Crosstrek Hybrid

The IIHS recently put the Crosstrek Hybrid through its six crashworthiness tests, which includes the driver-side small overlap front, passenger-side small overlap front, moderate overlap front, side, roof strength and head restraint tests, where it received the highest rating of good in each test. To receive the award, a vehicle must also receive an advanced or superior rating for front crash prevention and a good headlight rating.

The Crosstrek Hybrid’s front crash prevention system received a superior rating, since it avoided collisions at 12 and 25 mph. It’s standard curve-adaptive LED projector headlights with high-beam assist earned a good rating.
