Starting with the WRX S4 its 2.0L turbocharged engine has almost forty more horsepower than the U.S.-spec WRX and the power is sent to the ground via a standard CVT transmission and Subaru’s Symmetrical all-wheel drive system. Sadly a six-speed manual transmission is not available. The WRX S4 also gets Subaru’s EyeSight driving assist system. Compared to the U.S. version, the WRX S4 has special front fender vents, new side sills, a revised front bumper, an integrated rear diffuser and new 18-inch wheels. Inside red stitching has been applied to seats.
