GM officially unveiled the Pontiac Solstice Coupe at the New York Auto Show earlier this year and now the automaker is going to show off a GXP version of the coupe at this year’s SEMA show.
The production Solstice Coupe is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder that puts out 260 horsepower. For the GXP version GM Performance Parts added its Stage 2 performance kit and a performance air intake kit to bring the final number up to 290 horsepower. The car also features a new cat-back exhaust system and new suspension kit.
The final touch is a Hydro Blue racing strip running down the middle of the car.
