Porsche’s second EV, the Taycan Cross Turismo was supposed to arrive by the end of this year, but now Porsche has announced that its launch has been pushed back to early 2021.

Bloomberg is reporting that Porsche has delayed the arrival of the Taycan Cross Turismo due to strong demand for the Taycan sedan.

“The change is no disadvantage for us; we just optimized the cycle plan,” Porsche Chief Executive Officer Oliver Blume told reporters on Wednesday. Porsche “looks to the future with confidence.”  Even with the coronavirus pandemic, Porsche remained profitable in the first half of the year, due to strong demand for the new 911 and Taycan. Plus Porsche also cut unnecessary expenses.
