We’re finally going to get to see the next-generation 2020 Porsche 911 (992), which is going to debut next month at the LA Auto Show. Porsche has not only confirmed that it will take the wraps off the new 911 next month, but that sales in the US will kick off by next summer.

The first models from the new 992-generation to arrive will be the 2020 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 and 4S coupes. Both versions have 450 horsepower on tap and send the power to the ground the optional PDK dual-clutch eight-speed automatic transmission. The Carrera S and 4S cabriolet versions will arrive shortly after the coupes.

The base 385 horsepower 2020 Carrera and Carrera 4 versions with either the seven-speed manual or the PDK will be available a few months after the S versions. The manual versions of both the Carrera S and Carrera 4S will also arrive at the same time as the base versions. The 992 Turbo is expected to arrive by the end of 2019.
