Porsche has released two new sketches of the upcoming 2025 Porsche Macan EV, which is set to make its full debut in just a couple of days.

The first photo shows the front of the 2025 Porsche Macan EV, which features Taycan-inspired headlights that are squintier than those of past Porsche models. An aggressive front bumper features what look like large air intakes but which are probably not considering EVs don’t require the same cooling as ICE vehicles. The second photo shows the 2025 Porsche Macan EV’s rear, which, again, builds on the design legacy first foraged by the Porsche Taycan EV, complete with full-width taillights featuring the Porsche name spelled out in block letters and defined haunches.
Designing the 2025 Porsche Macan EV has been a distinct challenge for Porsche’s designers, with Head of Style Michael Mauer saying, “The new Macan is the first model that we are electrifying for an existing, established product identity,” adding, “every new sports car has to be very clearly recognizable as part of the Porsche product family and the model in question, but it also has to be perceived as ‘the new one.'”
Porsche has already revealed other parts of the 2025 Porsche Macan EV, including its screen-laden interior, which looks right in line with other modern Porsche interiors.
Porsche also revealed that the 2025 Porsche Macan EV will produce around 603 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque in its most powerful configuration.
We’ll hear (and see) much more about the 2025 Porsche Macan EV in just a few days.
