Even though it’s technically an SUV, the Porsche Macan is all sports car, well at least the Macan Turbo version is. Porsche is upping the ante even more with the introduction of a new Performance Package for the Macan Turbo, which adds an extra 40 horsepower for a total 440-hp!

With the Performance Package, the twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 is “newly calibrated” to deliver 40 more horsepower than the Macan Turbo, which gives it a 0-60 mph time of 4.2 seconds (a reduction of 0.2 seconds), and a new top track speed of 169 mph (an increase of 5 mph). The maximum torque has also risen to 36 lb-ft. to 442 lb-ft. Other upgrades include a developed brake system, lowered sport chassis, the Sport Chrono Package, and a sport exhaust system.
There are some optional packages to customize the Macan Turbo with Performance Package, like the Turbo Exterior Package and Turbo Interior Package.The Turbo Exterior Package can add 21-inch 911 Turbo design wheels with spokes painted in high-gloss black, LED headlights equipped with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus, and numerous other black elements. The Turbo Interior Package delivers a black leather interior with Alcantara elements, color appliqué in numerous areas and carbon elements such as the door entry guards with the model logo lit up in white.
Pricing for the Macan Turbo with the Performance Package starts at $86,445.
