Volkswagen may be focusing most of its attention on the new Atlas SUV and the revamped Golf right now, but there are more new models coming from Wolfsburg this year. A product roadmap has revealed that the next-generation VW Jetta and Touareg will debut later this year.
According to the product road map, VW is going to reveal a new Polo next month, which will be followed by the debut of the small T-Roc crossover in August, a new Touareg in November and a new Jetta by the end of 2017.
The small T-Roc crossover will be positioned below the Tiguan in VW’s crossover lineup and it should arrive in the US by 2019. VW recently teased the new T-Roc by releasing a short video clip of a camouflaged T-Roc being tested in the desert. The T-Roc will be based on the same platform as the Golf and will be produced at VW’s plant in Palmela, Portugal.

Although VW now has the new three-row Atlas, there’s still room VW’s crossover lineup for the Touareg, which will be positioned as the most luxurious crossover with a VW badge. Expect both the Touareg to have its world debut in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
A month after the new Touareg arrives, VW will deliver the all-new Jetta. Not much is known yet about the new 2018 Jetta, but it will be based on VW’s MQB platform.
