Last week Nissan gave us a preview of the next-generation Nissan Z, but it didn’t reveal any other information. Now a new report claims that the new Nissan Z is going to enter production in September 2021, which means that it will likely arrive for the 2022 model year.
A forum member no the New Nissan Z forum reportedly received the news from a supplier that confirmed that the new Z will start rolling off the production line late next year.
Nissan has yet to confirm the specs for the new Z, but it has been reported that it will be called the 400Z and that it will be powered by the same turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 as the Infiniti Q60 Red Sport 400, with around 400 horsepower.
We can also see from the teaser that the new Z will have a more retro themed design than the current Z with some 240Z cues. Stay tuned, but if these reports are correct, get ready for the 2022 Nissan 400Z.
