Nissan has announced that it will unveil the next-generation Nissan Qashqai crossover on February 18. This is big news, since the Qashqai is sold in the US as the Rogue Sport.

Nissan has released this teaser of the new Qashqai, which it says “will set a new standard for the segment with appealing design, advanced technology and dynamic driving.”

The interior will get a major upgrade over the current generation with a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. A 10.8-inch head-up display will also be optional.

In Europe the Qashqai will be powered by electrified e-Power engines, but it’s not known what will power the new Rogue Sport. The new Rogue Sport is expected to arrive in the US as a 2022 model.

Stay tuned.
