Mercedes-Benz has lots of debuts planned for the 2018 Paris Motor Show, which kicks off at the beginning of October. In addition to the new GLE and Mercedes-AMG A35 4Matic, Mercedes-Benz has also confirmed that the next-generation B-Class will debut in Paris.

Mercedes-Benz hasn’t released any teasers of the new B-Class, but it says that “it puts the emphasis on the sports part of Sports Tourer.” The new Mercedes-Benz B-Class will also be more fun to drive, while also offering greater comfort. It’s interior is also bigger than its predecessor and under the hood, the engine lineup is more efficient and cleaner.

It’s unlikely that the next B-Class will be offered in the US, since the last one was only sold here as the fully electric B-Class Electric Drive. With the arrival of the EQC electric crossover, it’s doubtful that Mercedes-Benz will bring an electric version of the next-generation B-Class to the US as well.
