Next year Audi is set to release an all-new A3. Yesterday we got our first official peak at what the new A3 will look like, with the release of a few teaser sketches. The next-generation A3 is going to be offered in three-door, five-door, sedan and cabrio versions. 2013_audi_a3_hatch_sketch.jpg

In addition to the four different bodystyles, Audi is also going to offer up to six different power options under the hood of the new A3. Audi gave us a preview of one of the options with the A3 e-tron concept, which will lead to a full electric version of the A3. There will also be hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions available in addition to the gasoline and diesel powered models. Audi is also considering a natural gas powered A3.

The 2013 A3 is expected to be officially unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September and will hit showrooms in the second half of next year.
