We have to wait until January to see the 2016 Volt, but Chevy did reveal part of the Volt’s new face at a fan event in LA.
Even though the Los Angeles Auto Show kicked off this week, one car that was not at the show was the next-generation Chevy Volt. We have to wait until January to see the 2016 Volt, but Chevy did reveal part of the Volt’s new face at a fan event in LA.
The reveal does show that the new Volt will get a sleeker face with an evolution of the current silver grille. The grille and headlights are also more angular.

Chevy also revealed that the 2016 Volt will get new more user-friendly charging. The new charging system will use GPS to adjust the vehicle’s charge settings. Owners will now be able to set their charging preferences exclusively for their “home” charging location and the vehicle will automatically adjust to that setting when it is at that location. The car will recognize when it arrives “home” based on GPS data.
