Toyota Mirai to be the first fuel cell vehicle to pace a NASCAR race

Toyota has announced that the 2016 Mirai fuel cell vehicle will pace the Toyota Owners 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway on Saturday night, April 25. The Mirai will be the first hydrogen-fueled vehicle to pace a NASCAR race.

The Mirai refuels in five minutes and travels up to 300 miles on a full tank. It is slated to go on sale in California later this year.
