Spy photographers have caught the 2009 BMW 1 Series coupe in the American southwest. There have been numerous rumors about this car making it to the U.S.
The fact that the company is testing it and taking photos of it on U.S. soil is providing more fuel to the rumors. If the car does come here it will slot between the Mini and the 3-Series in BMW’s lineup. We will most likely only see six-cylinder versions, even though there are four-cylinder versions in Europe. The possible configurations could be the BMW 130i or the BMW 135i in both coupe and convertible versions.
