Mitsubishi Teases GR-HEV and CA-MiEV Concepts That Will Debut in Geneva

Mitsubishi has announced that it is going to unveil two new concepts at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the Concept GR-HEV and the Concept CA-MiEV.

Mitsubishi has announced that it is going to unveil two new concepts at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, the Concept GR-HEV and the Concept CA-MiEV.
Mitsubishi feels that if electric vehicles are to have a significant impact on the environment, they should be able to attract a wide spectrum of customers with a full palette of EV-based vehicles across the range, from small run-a-bouts to big SUVs, each using a dedicated application of the technology (EV, HEV or PHEV). The GR-HEV concept is Mitsubishi’s take on a “Sport Utility Hybrid Truck.” The concept takes Mitsubishi’s hybrid technology and applies it to a pickup truck. The GR-HEV concept also uses Mitsubishi’s full-time 4WD technology, featuring Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) integrated vehicle dynamics control system driveline to deliver high stability traction and driving performance under all road conditions.

The CA-MiEV concept is Mitsubishi’s take on a suburban compact EV. The CA-MiEV concept showcases a next generation EV system and high density battery that gives the small EV a 186 mile driving range. The concept also features magnetic resonance wireless charging technology.
