Mitsubishi’s lineup is currently beyond aged and even though the small Mirage is powered by a three-cylinder engine, it gives Mitsubishi showrooms a fresh model. Mitsubishi’s execs are currently waiting to see how well the hatchback does here before a decision is made to bring the sedan version to the U.S. as well. Mitsubishi currently only expects to sell 600 units a month of the Mirage hatchback, but it remains to be seen if U.S. buyers will be willing to write a check for the hatchback, which is powered by a 74 horsepower three-cylinder engine.
