Mini has unveiled the roadster version of the Mini Coupe that was just released. The 2012 Mini Roadster is the sixth model in the brand’s current line-up and the first open-top two-seater in its history.
The Mini Roadster is basically the same as the coupe version, although its metal roof has now been replaced by a manual soft-top. The Mini Roadster sits 20 millimeters lower than the Mini convertible. It’s available with four engine options: the MINI John Cooper Works Roadster with 211 hp, MINI Cooper S Roadster with 184 hp, MINI Cooper Roadster with 122 hp, and the diesel powered MINI Cooper SD Roadster with 143 hp.
