Last year Mini took the wraps off the Mini Paceman Concept in Detroit and it was confirmed late last year that the concept would be put into production. According to a source that spoke with Car and Driver, the Paceman concept is slated to get a name change to Countryman Coupe when it enters production.
The Countryman Coupe name is a no brainer, since the Paceman concept is basically a two-door countryman with a unique rear fascia. The Mini Countryman Coupe will debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year and go on sale sometime next year.
