It’s being reported that Mercedes-Benz will stop selling the R-Class wagon in the U.S. According to Motoramic who spoke with Mercedes spokesman Chrisitan Bokich, the 2013 R-Class will not be sold in the states, although it will continue to be produced at the automaker’s Alabama plant for other markets like Canada and China.

Through March of this year, Mercedes-Benz has sold less than 300 units of the R-Class in the U.S. Bokich stated, “R-Class sales have shrunk to the extent that we can no longer make the business case for continuing to offer the R-Class.”
