The 70 kWh lithium-ion battery gives the SUV concept a driving range just over 300 miles and its possible to use a fast charger to add 62 miles of range in only five minutes.

Mercedes hasn’t announced when the first models from its new EQ sub-brand will be released, but it’s expected by the end of the decade. All of the models will feature the EQ name, with a third letter attached at the end to denote the model’s placement in the lineup, like EQS and EQC.
