McLaren has announced that it will reveal the 720S Spider on December 8. With today’s announcement, McLaren has also dropped the first teaser of the 720S droptop.
With the arrival of the 720S Spider, that means that McLaren will now offer two convertibles, since it already offers the 570S Spider. The 720S Spider will weigh a few pounds more than the standard 720S, but it’s not known yet if McLaren will add any upgrades to the twin-turbocharged V8, which currently generates 710 horsepower.
The McLaren 720S Spider is the second model from its new Track25 business plan.
