McLaren says that the track-only McLaren Senna GTR is almost ready for production, following the concept’s debut early this year at the Geneva Motor Show. Once production kicks off, McLaren will only produce 75 examples and of course all of them are already sold out.

The McLaren Senna GTR is powered by 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 814 horsepower and 590 lb-ft. of torque. The Senna GTR has 25 more horsepower than the road-legal Senna. Modifications to its exterior generates 2,205 lbs of downforce. Its suspension has been derived from McLaren GT3 and it rides on Pirelli slick race tires.

McLaren hasn’t announced when the production version of the Senna GTR will debut, but this single teaser sketch gives us an idea of what we can expect. Its carbon fiber body has wider fenders, a larger front splitter and rear diffuser and a repositioned active rear wing. Inside the minimalistic interior doesn’t have airbags or an infotainment system, but it does get a race-style steering wheel with integrated gearshift controls.

The McLaren Senna GTR has a price tag of $1.4 million.
