Mazda has announced the updates and pricing for the 2022 CX-9 three-row crossover and the good news is that it has received a price cut. The 2022 CX-9 starts at $36,505, which is cheaper than last year’s base Sport with front-wheel drive, which started at $37,285. Also it’s important to note that the CX-9 now comes standard with all-wheel drive.

The CX-9 is powered by a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder that generates 250 horsepower and 320 pound-feet of torque on 93 octane fuel. On regular 87 octane fuel, the engine generates 227 hp and 310 lb-ft.

The CX-9 is offered in six trim levels. The base CX-9 Sport comes standard with 18-inch wheels, rain-sensing wipers, and automatic headlights. It’s also packed with safety features, like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, rear-cross traffic alert and blind spot monitoring.
