Mazda has unveiled the 2018 Mazda6, which is going to debut this month at the LA Auto Show. The 2018 Mazda6 gets many of the same styling cues as the CX-5 and CX-9 SUVs, but Mazda says the theme of the redesign was “Mature Elegance.”

The design team sought to make the 2018 Mazda6 look more mature, with a higher quality look inside and out. The exterior will feature a more distinctive look, while the interior will get higher quality materials, like Japanese Sen Wood. From these teaser photos we can see that the 2018 Mazda6 isn’t completely new, but at least its face will stand out a bit more than the current model.

Under the hood the Mazda6 will offer two Skyactiv engine options, a naturally-aspirated 2.5L four-cylinder and the same turbocharged 2.5L four-cylinder that powers the CX-9. On the technology side, the 2018 Mazda6 will offer a wider range of advanced i-Activsense safety technologies. Mazda Radar Cruise Control can now bring the car to a standing stop and take off again when the car in front moves away, and the model also adopts Mazda’s latest 360° View Monitor.

The 2018 Mazda6 will debut on November 29.
