Mazda has unveiled the Mazda Takeri next-generation midsize sedan concept car, which is set to debut at the Tokyo Motor Show on December 3rd.

Last year Mazda unveiled the Shinari concept, which was our first look at Mazda’s new design language, Kodo, which is Japanese for soul of motion. The new Takeri concept also uses the new design language and takes many design cues from the Shinari.

Under the hood the Takeri concept uses Mazda’s new SkyActiv technology, including the new SkyActiv-D diesel engine. Other technology includes Mazda’s idling stop system, i-stop, and a new regenerative braking system.

The Takeri concept is basically a preview of what can probably expect as the next Mazda6 sedan. What do you think?
