It wasn’t really a secret, but now Mazda has confirmed that the all-new 2019 Mazda3 sedan and hatchback will debut at the LA Auto Show this month.
Last month Mazda released a teaser video for the all-new Mazda3, with the title “A New Era of Mazda Begins” which provided an early look at some of the 2019 Mazda3’s styling details. Now we have a new teaser that accompanies today’s announcement, which provides a clearer look at the new Mazda3 sedan.
Mazda also says that the new Mazda3 “adopts a more mature interpretation” of its Kodo design language. The new Mazda3 will be based on the next-generation Skyactiv-Vehicle architecture with the latest Skyactiv engines. The new platform and engines will improve the Mazda3’s driving dynamics, since Mazda also says that its “fundamental performance attributes have been raised to a new level.”
