Maserati has reportedly pushed back the launch of the sexy Alfieri coupe to at least 2020.
Maserati has reportedly pushed back the launch of the sexy Alfieri coupe, according to a report from Autocar. General manager of Maserati Europe Giulio Pastore has revealed that the Maserati is going to release new versions of the Granturismo and Grancabrio before the Alfieri arrives, which means we’ll probably have to wait until 2020 or 2021.
“The Granturismo and Grancabrio will not be dropped,” Pastore stated. “We won’t forget that Maserati is very well known in its history for beautiful 2+2 GT cars and we will replace them, then the Alfieri.”

When the Alfieri concept debuted in 2014, it was expected that the production version would arrive by 2016, so the push back to 2020 or 2021 is a bit disappointing.
