It’s obvious that the Air has its eyes set on the Tesla Model S. Under the skin there are two electric motors, one at the front and one at the back. The electric motors generate a combined 1,000 horsepower, which gives the Air a 0-60 mph time of only 2.5 seconds. A 100 kWh battery is standard, but an even larger 130 kWh battery will be optional. With the largest battery, the Air will be able to travel around 400 miles on a single charge.

Just like when the Tesla Model S went on sale, the Air won’t be cheap with the first examples carrying a price tag around $160,000. A cheaper version that will cost around $65,000 is planned.
