Once again gas prices are insane, which is prompting most automakers to continue to think small. Mercedes-benz has announced plans to finally offer its A-Class here in the US and other automakers like GM are thinking about small luxury cars with the Cadillac Urban Luxury Concept.

Not to be left behind, Lincoln is said to be working on a new small car that will be based on Ford’s global compact platform. According to sources Lincoln designers are hard at work on a new concept vehicle and it’s likely that it will debut at the Los Angeles auto show this November.

Ford has already stated plans to build a new Lincoln model off of its compact car platform, so there is a good chance that we will see a concept version by the end of the year.
