Lexus might be working on a new crossover, since it recently trademarked the “RZ 450e” name in the United States, Europe and Australia.
The Lexus RZ R450e is mostly likely a crossover, since that’s all that buyers want right now, but it’s not known if it would be used for something sleeker, like a crossover coupe. Right now there are two models in the Lexus lineup that current use the “R”, the RX crossover and the RC coupe.
The “e” portion of the also hints that the RZ 450e will be an EV, since the “e” portion of the name is also used by the UX 300e electric crossover.
Right now Lexus has not make any announcements about the RZ 450e, so stay tuned.
