Lexus recently introduced the new LX 600, which is the brand’s version of the latest Toyota Land Cruiser. Lexus already offers a hybrid version of almost every vehicle in its lineup and now it looks like that will soon include the LX SUV. A trademark application has been discovered in Canada for the “LX 700h” name.

2023 Lexus LX 600

The 4th Gen Tacoma forum discovered the trademark, which was filed on March 6, 2023. Lexus has not made any announcements about a hybrid version of its flagship SUV, but it makes total sense.

We don’t have any other details, but it’s likely that the LX 700h will be powered by a V6 hybrid powertrain, which would have more power than the LX 600’s 3.4-liter V6 with 409 hp and 470 lb-ft. of torque.
